Despite the Ontario Government's announcement today, May 14, 2020, that single participant sport, including figure skating, may resume effective May 19, 2020, Skate Ontario has NOT authorized Skate Canada sanctioned Clubs to operate. In addition, the Town of BWG has cancelled all programming, including skating at the Leisure Centre through to September 2020. Should there be any updates to our programming we will advise.

StarSkate 1 to 3
This programs transitions those CanSkaters who have achieved level 5 or 6 results into the StarSkate Program, offering group lessons with the option of retaining a private or semi-private coach.
StarSkate 4-5 AND UP RUNS ON OUR OPEN SESSIONS
As a junior/intermediate skater you are now part of the StarSkate program. Skaters will work with a private coach who will direct the skater's progress and assess needs. A minimum of two days is required and a private coach must be retained at this level. This is a decision made by each skater and parent.
The Senior Session is for those StarSkaters ready to move on from the Junior/Intermediate Session. These skaters will have completed their Star 1-5 Free Skate tests and will be working on their Jr. Silver Dances and Sr. Bronze skills. There are no group lessons offered through the BDSC at this level. Training is individualized or in a semi- private/group offered through coaches directly.
